Whisper the black cat was a wondefull puss, became very loving in her later years, but this weekend was unable to cope with her kidney problems and was sadly let go. we will miss her loads as i’m sure her buddy shimmy will as well. x

BUMBLE
Again thank you so much for helping out yesterday. After losing our beautiful Bailey unexpectedly in september we decided we wanted to help another less fortunate dog, in parrticular older ones that tend to be left behind in the animal shelters. We adoted Tiara on 22nd October 2010 and renamed her Bumble, despite being 13 or 14 years old, partly blind, deaf and artritic (and a little incontinent) she fitted in well and loved to come for walks (slowly) wrapped up in the little coat we bought her and would run and skip along to us when she saw us. Unfortunately the joy of having her as part of the family has been very short, yesterday she had a stroke and along with our Vet decided the best thing we could do for her was to let her go. We always knew she may not have very long and our intention was to ensure that however long she had she woulg be warm, well feed and loved and whilst we are very sad she has gone we are glad that she died with people who loved her. We are still keen on making the last months/years of older dogs happy ones so I suspect that we may well rescue another inthe future.

Beautiful Bailey
This week we heard the sad news of the loss of beautiful Bailey a dear little Cocker Spaniel, who along with Harvey her best buddy, were our first clients. She had a gentle and loving nature and was loved very much by her owners Dave and Jackie along with our selves. We think it is little Harvey who will miss her most as he is such a sensitive little chap…
